Teachers should obtain sufficient training and education in yogic philosophy, anatomy, asanas, and pranayama. Yoga mats are essential to perform all yoga activities.

If you have bought some books on yoga and meditation, don't let them gather dust while you plan and hope you will start the practice one day. Yoga offers many benefits to your mind, body, and spirit, and these benefits may be maximized with regular practice on your own in addition to your classes and with your teacher. Imagine being able to inspire that same sense of delight and accomplishment in others.
